Everything has an end. This time it's time for me to have a no-crime-happening-to-me free life. Thank you for keeping your hands on me, Father. I love you. Prayer Requests 7/16/15
The prayer requests from Thursday's Love in Action meal are below. Thank you for praying with us for this ministry and our guests!
Blessings,
Erika
Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!
Hebrews 12:1-3 (MSG)
-- Juan C.: Please God, save me. Let this nightmare be over. Please help. I am dying. Amen
-- God, I ask for your hand in all my affairs. Amen, amen, amen.
-- Eileen and Joseph: Provisions, protection, healing, deliverance.
-- I thank God for my kids, me, and everyone.
-- Kenny C.: Prayers for healing, job, and housing.
-- Pray for Clara R.’s Aunt Mary, that the cancer gets better and the big cancer of using people goes away. Clara still needs transportation. Pray for the churches.
-- Reynold, Bettey, Mat
-- Please pray for Ms. Ella, Shannon, Juan, Danita, our families, this church, homeless, as I am. Bless.
-- Cornelia: I would love Jesus to claim me as His own and to fully take away my doubts!
-- Mother: I pray for my son Adam. He is my world and works at the Miami Rescue Mission. Keep him safe from the fellows who stay there. In Jesus name, for Adam.
-- Lori: I want to thank all who have been praying for my sister Donna. She is doing better: sat up in a chair, ate breakfast, and texts me now. Asking for continued prayers. Thank you.
-- Pray for my brother Christopher E. L. Pray for his healing and a place to stay.
-- Miguel B.: Pray for my family in Massachusetts.
-- Jimmy, Arus, Samuel, Philip, James, Roger, Rebecca, Mary, Jodi, Brian, Kohl, Rlem
-- Family, friends, churches, Israel, volunteers, Alisa, Christy, Grandma
-- S. Smith: Lord, I have sinned against you. Protect me from evil. Bless me financially.
-- Thank you, Lord Jesus and Spirit of God. You are love, my power blood, Jesus and Savior. God is love. Thank you.
-- For Ms. Lenore as she grieves the loss of her father.

Prayer Requests 7/9/15
The prayer requests from Thursday's Love in Action meal are below. Thank you for praying with us for this ministry and our guests.
Blessings,
Erika
So don’t you see that we don’t owe this old do-it-yourself life one red cent. There’s nothing in it for us, nothing at all. The best thing to do is give it a decent burial and get on with your new life. God’s Spirit beckons. There are things to do and places to go!
This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us—an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with him!
Romans 8:12-17 (MSG)

Prayer Requests 6/18/15
The prayer requests from Thursday's Love in Action meal are below. Thanks for praying with us for this ministry and our guests.
Blessings,
Erika
Jesus was matter-of-fact: “Embrace this God-life. Really embrace it, and nothing will be too much for you. This mountain, for instance: Just say, ‘Go jump in the lake’—no shuffling or shilly-shallying—and it’s as good as done. That’s why I urge you to pray for absolutely everything, ranging from small to large. Include everything as you embrace this God-life, and you’ll get God’s everything. And when you assume the posture of prayer, remember that it’s not all asking. If you have anything against someone, forgive—only then will your heavenly Father be inclined to also wipe your slate clean of sins.”
