Prayer Requests 2/20/14

Hi, the Love in Action prayer requests have been delayed for over a month due to some communication issues. Please pray for a smooth resolution of these problems. We know how important these prayers are to you, Father, and we ask that nothing will impede us from lifting them up to you.

The prayer requests from this period of time are below.

If you get rid of unfair practices, quit blaming victims, quit gossiping about other people’s sins,
If you are generous with the hungry and start giving yourselves to the down-and-out,
Your lives will begin to glow in the darkness, your shadowed lives will be bathed in sunlight.
I will always show you where to go.
I’ll give you a full life in the emptiest of places—firm muscles, strong bones.
You’ll be like a well-watered garden, a gurgling spring that never runs dry.
You’ll use the old rubble of past lives to build anew, rebuild the foundations from out of your past.
You’ll be known as those who can fix anything, restore old ruins, rebuild and renovate, make the community livable again.

Father, teach me your way and I trust and believe in you and your decree. Please help me and all who are homeless and give us a safe place to lay my head and benefit to keep. Amen.
-- Lori S.: I ask for a prayer that I get into my affordable housing soon. Pray for my sister Donna that her red blood count goes up soon and her body is accepting. Pray for my sister that her red blood count goes up, and no pain. Pray for me, I may need hip replacement. That if I do that it will be successful and I will heal quickly, thank you.
-- JB: Money and a place for me and my friends to get off the street. Prayer for my sister's health and Donna, myself as well, need new hip, get my leg proper care. Thank you!
-- I am trying to discover God's plan for me, and my situation is full of obstacles that are preventing me from moving forward. I want to travel and learn about faiths and what makes them similar. Beats sleeping on the street.
-- Ray and Elisha: Pray for money to help with our laundry and rent for our storage for January.
