Prayer Requests 1/19/17

The prayer requests from Thursday’s Love in Action meal are below. Thanks for praying for this ministry and our guests.

Blessings,
Erika

In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body we’re talking about is Christ’s body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn’t amount to much, would we? So since we find ourselves fashioned into all these excellently formed and marvelously functioning parts in Christ’s body, let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren’t.

-- Dear God, please tell Greg to stop giving low-numbered tickets to his “homies”, even though they all are not handicapped. He does this on Tuesdays/Thursdays. He has been doing this for months. You know the beneficiaries. You know this behavior is despicable and that’s cheating. You know that is desecrating the church. You know the bullies that benefit from his disgusting favoritism are selfish and don’t deserve the extra help. You know that we the homeless are aware of his cheating. Please open the pastor’s eyes. Thank you, Lord.
-- Thomas be given the strength to resist the temptation and craving for alcohol. To begin a new day forming new habits and wear the shirt of victory that broadens the path and space beneath his feet. That he be enriched in everything to all bountifulness and live the magnificent life on the highway of success and good fortune and unconditional love. Thomas to be a channel for unexpected divine guidance and favor and that he succeeds in everything he undertakes. Bless the Lord and all that is within me. Bless His holy name. The Lord speaks what He will and it shall be fulfilled without delay. Caylin in love and faithfulness and a good name in sight of the Lord (Prov. 3:4). In awe, praise God. I have seen astounding miracles today. Suddenly there is more than enough. I shall not be in want, all day long, He deals graciously and lends. Give us seed that we may live and not die. This seed will change my world in a single day of joy and good fortune. There will be no end. I lack nothing my health desires. The Lord gives 20/20 vision to the blind and their sight is restored and all my paths are peaceful. Praise the Lord, I give thanks to the Lord for He is magnificent. His love endures forever. Bless this church and volunteers for providing a wonderful meal. Thanks so much!
