Prayer Requests 9/1/16

The prayer requests from Thursday’s Love in Action meal are below. Thanks for praying with us for this ministry and our guests.

“If you want to give it all you’ve got,” Jesus replied, “go sell your possessions; give everything to the poor. All your wealth will then be in heaven. Then come follow me.”

That was the last thing the young man expected to hear. And so, crestfallen, he walked away. He was holding on tight to a lot of things, and he couldn’t bear to let go.

-- I am homeless, pastor. Get my children and husband back. Please pray. Restore my home and family life. Please bless us.
-- For Myra/Marte: Secureness and happiness.
-- Miguel B.:  Please pray for my family in Massachusetts and Puerto Rico.
-- Randy J.: I have SA. I need a low cost apt. It’s too far.
-- I pray for wisdom.
-- God bless everyone. Thank you for help and bless me in court. Bless me.

-- Moe: Please pray for my wife to get an efficiency apartment - 1 bedroom studio. Get her kids back. Heal our disabilities and bless us with righteous prosperity. Try to get us together and working for God.
-- Please pray for my son and me. We haven’t found a place to stay. Currently staying in the park. I am unemployed but a student at Broward College. Please pray for our brokenness.
-- Please pray for Miss Linda, bus driver, Pam Rose and family, Judith B., Rodman R. R. Sr. and Jr., P.K. Willis, L. Reese, Higgins family, Mr. Angel and family, Pastor Pery and all the church, perfect health, will of God, financial breakthrough, career of God’s choice.

-- For Tracy, who recently had her leg amputated. Please pray for her physical and emotional needs to be met, and pray for guidance for the people seeking to assist her.

-- Father God, we ask that you lay hands on Kimmy and let her know that she is loved by all of us.
-- Continued prayer for Ashley and her daughter, Trinity. 
-- For Joey and his family as they reunite.

-- For Dave's killer to be found, brought to justice, and made whole. For the police department to continue to give attention and effort to solving the case.

-- For the health of our volunteers, especially Debbie’s continuing physical recovery.

-- Father, please enable Love in Action to continue to serve your children. As we struggle with questions about funding, give us the wisdom to listen for your voice and to trust in you.
-- Prayers for God's guidance and direction as to where we shall serve the Love in Action meal in the future. Please open our eyes to where He wants us to be.
-- Thank you, Father, for the hands and hearts of the Love in Action volunteers. Thank you for our donors. Thank you for the way the members of our ministry use their gifts to lovingly care for our guests. Thank you for loving us.
