All believers, come here and listen,
let me tell you what God did for me.
I called out to him with my mouth,
my tongue shaped the sounds of music.
If I had been cozy with evil,
the Lord would never have listened.

Blessed be God: he didn’t turn a deaf ear,
he stayed with me, loyal in his love.

Prayer Requests 10/10/19
The prayer requests from Thursday’s Love in Action meal are below. Thank you for praying with us for this ministry and our guests.
Blessings,
Erika
“You’re familiar with the old written law, ‘Love your friend,’ and its unwritten companion, ‘Hate your enemy.’ I’m challenging that. I’m telling you to love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer, for then you are working out of your true selves, your God-created selves. This is what God does. He gives his best—the sun to warm and the rain to nourish—to everyone, regardless: the good and bad, the nice and nasty. If all you do is love the lovable, do you expect a bonus? Anybody can do that. If you simply say hello to those who greet you, do you expect a medal? Any run-of-the-mill sinner does that.
“In a word, what I’m saying is, Grow up. You’re kingdom subjects. Now live like it. Live out your God-created identity. Live generously and graciously toward others, the way God lives toward you.”
Matthew 5:43-48 (MSG)
-- Brian B.
-- Please pray for David and Jon!
-- Chester R.: Thank you for looking over me, keeping me safe morning and night. In Jesus name.
-- Senyah A.: Please pray for me and my family. To find a man, for my health, a good job, a man who loves the Lord. He must love me for who I am, making me laugh and smile, keeping a smile on my face. We must be together as a happy loving couple.
-- Pat J.: I love You.
-- Please pray for Kim for guidance. Also for Becky and Debbie for good health. Also, blessings for Timothy.
-- Pray that God will reveal and lead me into the ministry without anger toward others.
-- Love all, from all.
-- Please God, let my kids live a good life.
-- Renita: Pray home, healing, and finances.
-- Lord, please life Levone D. and bless Levone D. the way He wants it and more, fix it, please Lord. I need You all the time.
-- Steve: Pray for my family.
-- Ruby D.: A job and place to live.
-- John W.: Need a car and Jesus.
-- Donna G.
-- Pray for all those who are lost.
-- For Debbie's health.

Prayer Requests 10/3/19
The prayer requests from Thursday’s Love in Action meal are below. Thanks for praying with us for this ministry and our guests.
Blessings,
Erika
“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free
and break every yoke?
Is it not to share your food with the hungry
and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—
when you see the naked, to clothe them,
and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
Then your light will break forth like the dawn,
and your healing will quickly appear;
then your righteousness will go before you,
and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
Then you will call, and the Lord will answer;
you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.
“If you do away with the yoke of oppression,
with the pointing finger and malicious talk,
and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry
and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,
then your light will rise in the darkness,
and your night will become like the noonday.
The Lord will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins
and will raise up the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,
Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.”
Isaiah 58:6-12 (NIV)

“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free
and break every yoke?
Is it not to share your food with the hungry
and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—
when you see the naked, to clothe them,
and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
Then your light will break forth like the dawn,
and your healing will quickly appear;
then your righteousness will go before you,
and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
Then you will call, and the Lord will answer;
you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.
“If you do away with the yoke of oppression,
with the pointing finger and malicious talk,
and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry
and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,
then your light will rise in the darkness,
and your night will become like the noonday.
The Lord will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins
and will raise up the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,
Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.”
Isaiah 58:6-12 (NIV)
