Prayer Requests 6/15/17

The prayer requests from Thursday’s Love in Action meal are below. Thank you for your ongoing prayers for this ministry and our guests.

The people brought children to Jesus, hoping he might touch them. The disciples shooed them off. But Jesus was irate and let them know it: “Don’t push these children away. Don’t ever get between them and me. These children are at the very center of life in the kingdom. Mark this: Unless you accept God’s kingdom in the simplicity of a child, you’ll never get in.” Then, gathering the children up in his arms, he laid his hands of blessing on them.

-- Please pray for my father John C.R., that his health keeps up for he is a good man and 91 years old. God bless him. For me, Brian R. I am having surgery on June 23 for colon cancer.
-- Thank you Lord for all the good things You do. Help me to be strong enough to change my life. Help me and my boyfriend to overcome our obstacles with homelessness and addiction.
-- I would like a permanent place to live - all I want for my birthday this year. That my family and friends do not get sick. Find storage for my personal possessions before June 19.
-- As I come to You in prayer with a humble, open heart so that I can remove jealousy and hate from my heart so that I can be happy and open to love. Although the process to meet Paul may not be sped up, I pray for his walk with You, his ability to hear Your voice and his will to bend toward what You want. I pray for Paul’s emotional walk, physical being and that he break free of unhealthy addictions, that career be reestablished where God wants him. I pray for his ministry, for his preparation, for his identity as a man. I pray that Paul not be distracted by counterfeit women. I pray that Paul see me the way You my Lord wants to be seen. I pray You tell him about me, that you show me how to pray for him. I want to be filled with the love of Jesus. That you show me how to love and be happy. In Jesus name, Amen.

-- Father, please enable Love in Action to continue to serve your children. As we struggle with questions about funding, give us the wisdom to listen for your voice and to trust in you.
-- Prayers for God's guidance and direction as to where we shall serve the Love in Action meal in the future. Please open our eyes to where He wants us to be.
-- Thank you, Father, for the hands and hearts of the Love in Action volunteers. Thank you for our donors. Thank you for the way the members of our ministry use their gifts to lovingly care for our guests. Thank you for loving us.
