Prayer Requests 5/3/18

The prayer requests from Thursday’s Love in Action meal are below. Thank you for praying with us for this ministry and our guests.

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

-- Thank you, Lord, for this med. Thank you for my brothers/sisters. Pray for me--George. Pray for everyone. Pray for that man and his family that passed the highway. May the good Lord bless us all!
-- Pray for the homeless, helpless, people who are hurting, in the good Lord’s name. Pray for peace in the Middle East. Pray for the people who have little to eat. Pray for Pastor Pery and his family, staff, and the rest who do what they do best. Pray for my mom, Mike, Dan, Boris, Frances, Cay, Sam, Becky, Catrice, Glenda, Juanita, Bill, Chris, and Dave.
-- Thank you, Jesus. Please pray for my health and anyone else.
-- Please pray for Becky’s arm, Levi’s good health, Errol’s passing, Brian’s good health and Sam. Pray for Timothy and all of his struggles.
-- LaPrince and Chris: Dear Lord, continue to work on my life. Work on Chris B.’s life. I pray for hope and more faith for my children and for my family. Amen.

-- Father, please enable Love in Action to continue to serve your children. As we struggle with questions about funding, give us the wisdom to listen for your voice and to trust in you.
-- Prayers for God's guidance and direction as to where we shall serve the Love in Action meal in the future. Please open our eyes to where He wants us to be.
-- Thank you, Father, for the hands and hearts of the Love in Action volunteers. Thank you for our donors. Thank you for the way the members of our ministry use their gifts to lovingly care for our guests. Thank you for loving us.
