Prayer Requests 3/28/19

The prayer requests from Thursday's Love in Action meal are below. Thanks for praying with us for this ministry and our guests.

But if God himself has taken up residence in your life, you can hardly be thinking more of yourself than of him. Anyone, of course, who has not welcomed this invisible but clearly present God, the Spirit of Christ, won’t know what we’re talking about. But for you who welcome him, in whom he dwells—even though you still experience all the limitations of sin—you yourself experience life on God’s terms. It stands to reason, doesn’t it, that if the alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he’ll do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? When God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus), you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ’s!

-- Skip: Pray for me, Skip S. from Philadelphia. Anger issues toward God. I take everything out on God! Please pray for the woman I’m in love with, in Philadelphia. She is a prostitute and drug user. Her name is Chrissy K. Thank you very much.

-- Charlotte L.: First give glory and honor to God in Jesus name. I pray to Jesus to change my heart and flesh to become the virtuous woman, mother, grandmother, and wife God created me to be.

-- God says that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I have got to get an immediate part-time job, not a volunteer like I try to. I need a warm pair of socks, ankle height, size 9-11. I have an identity theft - major problem and I do not have the car. He is driving. God says it’s my turn. May the love of Jesus be with all here and ever after. I have to find a way to grow my natural skin on me properly because much of it has been abused and not by me. May you pray God Jesus and Holy Spirit to give me money for vitamins. May I have a long-sleeve Steve Gray sweatshirt, but thinner for hot days? Ask people to stop saying yeah, yeah to me for trying to serve Jesus.

-- I would like to request prayer for a circumstance that is happening in my life now but a sheriff said now the restraining papers are no good. Three weeks of absolute torture and now a 45-day wait until the court decides to give a pink paper in the mail to me. The sheriff wants me to relocate, but the shelters are filled. I need $1,400.00 for a security deposit. I cannot get to the battered women’s shelter.
