Prayer Requests 7/27/17

The prayer requests from Thursday’s Love in Action meal are below. Thanks for your prayers for this ministry and our guests.

Look carefully at your call, brothers and sisters. By human standards, not many of you are deemed to be wise. Not many are considered powerful. Not many of you come from royalty, right? But celebrate this: God selected the world’s foolish to bring shame upon those who think they are wise; likewise, He selected the world’s weak to bring disgrace upon those who think they are strong.
1 Corinthians 1:26-27 (VOICE)

-- Yolanda: Dear God, thanks and blessings to those who see how good You are. Thank you, God.
-- Financial breakthrough; unity in family, friends and nation and ministry to grow.
-- Pray for my husband to be cancer-free. Pray for good health for all my friends.
-- Lord, please give David and I a place to live. Take care of David as I go into the 60-day homeless program. Thank you for Jesus. Protect David along the dangerous highway. Take care of us.
-- Need employment; need medical insurance (vision, dental, female checkup), transportation, and a closer relationship with the Lord. Thank you Father for Jesus.
-- Break every chain in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
-- Pray for my drinking and to make more money at work.
-- Thank you, thank you, thank you before it happens!
-- Jesus, Lord, thank you God my power. Thank you my Savior. God is love. God is the love of my soul. Want you Jesus. Thank you Jesus.
-- For Tommy: Please pray for the strength to cope with the diagnosis of cancer.
-- God will continue to bless you as you continue His word.
-- Please pray for my drinking, finding more work and money.
-- Pray for my family as they are leaving for Orlando on Friday for vacation. Pray for a safe trip and safe return. I need a job and a home. Thank you.
-- I come to You in prayer, Father God. I ask You heal Violene and that I can help her eat and increase her appetite. Look after Greg so that he can save his money and get a Vis card. Heal me from my depression and anxiety. I am grateful for a job but I would like a change of pace with a new job. Bless me as I look for a new job–one that pays well and allows me to live on my own. Make my dreams clearer and that your Word touch me directly so that I may know how to proceed. I am asking for peace and guidance. I am asking to no longer be emotional. All of this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
-- I come to you in prayer and supplication asking that you carry me and give me peace and contentment, despite my circumstances. I don’t know much about You and how You function, but I would like peace to come over me more than ever. Make my dreams clearer so that I can understand your will for me. I ask that you give Violene peace. Give Greg and Paul peace. More important to understand that you don’t owe me anything. Give me my heart’s desire. In Jesus name.

-- For Tracy’s physical and emotional needs to be met, for guidance for the people seeking to assist her.

-- Father, please enable Love in Action to continue to serve your children. As we struggle with questions about funding, give us the wisdom to listen for your voice and to trust in you.
-- Prayers for God's guidance and direction as to where we shall serve the Love in Action meal in the future. Please open our eyes to where He wants us to be.
-- Thank you, Father, for the hands and hearts of the Love in Action volunteers. Thank you for our donors. Thank you for the way the members of our ministry use their gifts to lovingly care for our guests. Thank you for loving us.
