Prayer Requests 12/17/15

The prayer requests from Thursday’s Love in Action meal are below.

This week LIA hosted the annual Homeless Memorial, a candlelight ceremony in remembrance of our 74 homeless friends who passed away locally over the past year. As each of our friends’ names was called, an angel ornament with their name was placed on the tree. Sadly, each of the past several years has seen a significant increase in the number of homeless people lost in the Fort Lauderdale area.

We thank God for these precious lives, and we grieve their loss. Father, be with all those who loved them. Please help us lovingly care for all of your children. Please help us be your hands and feet in this world so that no one should die alone.

Peace and Love,
Erika

Blessed are those who mourn,
    for they will be comforted.
